Something about recent and finishing tournaments

Almost all tournaments preceding to the Voronezh festival are over now except the Europe championship in Minsk that is finishing today (10 June).

The Russian championship between school teams "White Rook" was held in Dagomys, school teams from several other countries also participated in it this year. The main referee of this event Vladimir Staratorzhsky will also act as a main referee in Voronezh. Indian schoolchildren won the main prize, we will be able to see them in "Master Open", as well as Leya Garifullina from Ekaterinburg whose team was the best among Russian teams. Schoolboys from Voronezh including Alexander Polukhin (who won the best combination prize in Dagomys) will participate in "FIDE Open".

Traditional Rashid Nezhmetdinov memorial has just finished in Kazan. A lot of players who succeeded in this event are going to play in Alekhine Memorial. By the way, we will see here Vadim Moiseenko, Daniil Lintchevsky and Zhamsaran Tsydypov who take the first three prizes in Kazan.

We wish the successful finish in Minsk to Boris Grachev, Ivan Popov, Dmitry Kryakvin, Maxim Chigaev, Ivan Rozum, Dmitry Bocharov, Nikita Matinian and other players whom we wait in Voronezh!
